Saucy Salamander Reached End of Life on July 17, 2014

Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) reached end of life on July 17.  This means that it is no longer supported.  There will be no more package updates to Saucy.

Ubuntu announced its release of Saucy about 9 months ago, on October 17, 2013.  This was the second release with the new 9 month support period.

It is now recommended to upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr).  For a desktop computer, you can directly upgrade by typing Alt + F2 and typing update-manager, then running it and following the on-screen instructions.

If you prefer to do a fresh install, Trusty is now available for download at http://www.ubuntu.com.
