Oneiric Ocelot Alpha 1 Has Been Released

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/oneiric/alpha-1/Oneiric Ocelot (Ubuntu 11.10) Alpha 1 was released yesterday, June 2. This, as a pre-release of Oneiric Ocelot, is not encouraged for anyone needing a stable system. Since it is the very first Alpha, breakage is to be expected. Therefore, it is recommended for Ubuntu developers and those who want to help in testing, reporting and fixing bugs.

You can download the Alpha 1 image here:

Of course, if you are already running Natty, you can upgrade to Oneiric by typing Alt + F2 and then typing “update-manager -d” (without the quotes) and following the instructions.

Happy testing!
